How many forms of love are there?
Loving someone or something is truly in the eyes of the beholder. We, as humans, tend to love physical and non-physical objects. Question: all of us are different, when it comes to attaching ourselves to “things” in our life. I love where I live, as an example. So, what’s your “thing” you love and please tell why?

In my opinion two: Unconditional and conditional.
Hmmm, there’s love for a best friend, the love you have after 50 years of marriage, new love that you get when you have been with someone for a year, love of ideals, love of a way of life, love of a type of object like a line of cars…...That’s all the love I can think of.
I love teaching the harp! It’s quite possibly the most satisfying thing I could ever do! People who learn it are doing so because they want to learn it, so it’s not a chore for them, and to see them progress week to week through following my advice is bloomin’ marvellous! It’s a job that will never feel like work!
So, to sum it up, I love my job! (I also love where I live, but you already took that one!)
Love of friends.
Love of pets.
Love of country.
Love of nature.
The possibilities are endless.
I found many different lists of the types of love. Indeed, one included your love of non-physical objects… that is, if you count a rock as a pet! Seriously, I think love of things is possessive love, or mania. It’s the kind of thing a lot of people try to stay away from.
Anyway, here goes. Check the links because there are much more detailed descriptions for all these types of love:
