Is your S/O fine just the way they are or is there something about them you would like to change?
This came to me while I was watching a report on that Bridalplasty show. The soon to be brides are competeing for cosmetic surgery. MY first way of framing this question was ” Why can’t you Ladies accept that we love you just the way you are? We’re guys and we’re far from perfect”, but I decided to broaden it to include everyone in the mix. Is there something you’d change, it can include almost anything, about your S/O?

I think that show is the biggest trainwreck ever, by the way.
I wouldn’t change a thing about my husband. I adore him more now than I did 19 years ago when we met.
The idea of that show sickens me. How sad! :/
I think I made out pretty good. Anything that I would change about him, I would change about myself in equal measure.
And I know which one of us I’m more qualified to work on.
Hardly do I think that these brides were raised in a vaccuum so let’s stop placing all the issue w/plastic surgery on people who want to get it as if low self-esteem is all that’s that issue is about. Anyway, I think the world of my SO – physically, he’s perfect and anything else about him…well it’s more about about the we rather than the him because it has to do with how we can be better together rather than how he can be better on his own.
There is nothing about my husband that I would change physically. I would start rambling about all of the good things, but it would bore the rest of you. ;~) I’m sure, however, that there is plenty he would change about me if he were to be completely honest.
It was the perfections, or near perfections, combined with the imperfections that made my most recent S/O “perfect.”
I would not want to change my SO. I love him the way he is.
@tedibear Has your husband said or hinted that he’d like you to change something?
Cosmetically that only surgery can do? I don’t thinks he needs anything. Non surgery stuff is what he’s working on now to improve his health and I’m very appreciative.
If he could learn to teleport, that would be awesome. In the meantime, I’ll hurry up and finish my undergrad so I can move to his part of the world. Other than that, not so much. He’s obviously not perfect (welcome to humanity), but his imperfections are insignificant in light of my love for him and commitment to him.
She’s perfect, except that she’s not a teenage nyphomaniac.
That show is outrageous. I’ve only heard about it but wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwowwww!!!!!
I would never change a thing.
He is perfect the way he is
