How long is family day for Army?

Boyfriend’s unit is doing some kind of thing today. I remember his LT. talking about it and I think he said it was family day. All I know is my bf is in color guard haha. Anyways, what time does it usually start and how long is it usually? Does it go past 6?

It depends on the unit and what they have planned. The ones I’ve been to have lasted several hours. They all had specific activities for the soldiers and their families to do during the day. I’ve never been to one that lasted late into the evening though. Most of the ones I’ve been to started mid-morning and ended in the afternoon.
