Lights, wreaths, trees, anything. Pretty straightforward. Go wild.

I go a little nuts indoors. Every room is completely decorated.. it usually looks like Rudolph threw up holiday spirit all over my house. I can plainly see two decorated trees from right where I’m sitting.
We used to put more lights up outside than we do now, but my husband has a back injury, so we stick to some basic icicle lights across the roof and garland with lights on the fence.
No much anymore, since my son moved out. The grandsons don’t like to climb on ladders, so I to do what I can without it.
Funny thing. I used to love decorating, but I don’t so much anymore. It’s just too much without my dad. We do have his blue Christmas lights, the ones I hated as a child. I’m sure they aren’t the same ones, but the last ones he used and we use them now. We used to put a tree in pretty much every room, but not this year. We have the family tree, my son wanted a tree in his room and my daughter opted for lights in her room around her desk. I have seasonal dishes and certain linens. But the special trees; the “fishing” tree for my husband, the kitchen themed tree for the kitchen, and the such…not this year.
Whatever our family can find in the attic. Maybe a live tree. Some twinkly lights if we spontaneously want to.
As a side note, we’re going to visit relatives in Orlando before Christmas, spend Christmas day at home, and go visit more relatives in Houston after. That’s like three Christmases. o.o
