What are your top 10 favorite donut toppings/fillings?

1. Glazed; Vanilla creme-filled.

2. Cake Donut Old-fashioned; Glazed

3. Krispy Kreme Cake Donut Chocolate.

I don’t really care after that. i can’t think of 10.

Boston Creme.

I can’t even think of 9 other types, nor would I want to.

I love pink frosting on donuts, though it is really hard to find. After that, sprinkles.

Now I want donuts… thanks. :) I’ve got to stop reading food questions during this pregnancy. They give me so many cravings.

I’m kind of fussy about donuts and if there’s not the type I like, I’d rather not indulge at all. Not necessarily in this order, I like:
Glazed (especially Krispy Kreme)
Powdered
Jelly with granulated sugar not powdered sugar on top
Boston Cream
Cake
apple filled

I am a big fan of pastries, but again, if it’s not something I like, I’d rather not at all.

Just got back from getting some donuts. I’m eating some Krispy Kreme donuts that are glazed, with chocolate icing, and Christmas sprinkles. :) Oh and my son got a pack of Skittles that had the “find the gold skittles” contest on them and we won a $50 gift card. Thanks for the donut craving @poisonedantidote. ;-)

I heard donuts are the worst thing for you because they’re fried and they have sugar, but they’re oh so irresistable!

On the rare occasion that I eat a doughnut, it’s a Krispy Kreme glazed, but I used to always get chocolate glazed or chocolate-covered Boston Cremes as a kid. I dislike yeast doughnuts.

1) Boston Creme. The type that’s really custard on the inside, and chocolate topped.

Just give me eight of those, and then I’ll have

9) Cinnamon Twist
10) Pumpkin.

If there’s nothing else, I’ll take a plain glazed.
Krispy Kreme donuts are too sweet. There. I said it.

@psychocandy It’s basically a donut that has yeast in the recipe to help the donut rise, they take a few hours to make, rather than a few minutes.

@augustlan: I agree. Krispy Kreme came to Boston a little while back and lasted less than a year. Some say our infatuation with Dunkin Donuts drove them out, but I think we just like our donuts cake-y and less sicky-sweet.
