Have you heard that Elizabeth Edwards died today?

This is hitting me harder than I thought it would.

I was watching CNN last night, and they mentioned that she had a few weeks to live.

Sad.

No, I hadn’t.. that’s really sad. I liked her a lot for the reasons you stated, she was very courageous and honest. I really despised John for all the scandal, making her deal with even more bullshit while she’s struggling with cancer. What a prick.

Aw, no. I was watching the news earlier and I heard that she was, well.. close. Very sad.

I think that I’ll stay away from the news coverage.

Whoa, I just read in the newspaper today that her cancer has spread and that she is no longer going to get tx but now she’s passed on – I did think ‘it won’t be long now.’

This breaks my heart. I met elizabeth back in 2004. Such a kind and gracious lady.R.I.P. kind lady, and rest well.

I am greatly saddened by her death.

I read an online article just minutes ago regarding her death. It’s very sad and I’d like to believe she is in a better place now.

this saddens me, I heard her cancer was no longer going to be treated but this shocked me. I have always thought she was a very strong person with a good heart. I don’t know why but she has always had some effect on me.

Putting politcal views aside. I find it saddening that she died.

I am deeply saddened by her death. She was a strong woman and courageous.

No, I didn’t even know who she was until the stories came out recently. That sucks.

I hadn’t heard that she died, only that she was near the end of her life.
How sad, I feel bad for her children, now their only parent is the guy who treated their mother so badly.
I hope that she had some happiness in her life. We heard about some of the challenges and grief, let’s hope that isn’t all there was.

Too bad. That is how my mom died. Very tough way to go. Not too many people deserve that. Certainly not my mom. Probably not her either.

Like @mama_cakes, it is hitting me harder than I thought it would. She dealt with a lot in her life and I respected the heck out of her for leaving John Edwards after his affair came to light. My heart goes out to her children.

Such a total bummer. She had a cancerous body, and a cancerous marriage but a beautiful spirit.

I heard about it earlier today.

She deserved a lot more than she got in her life.

If there is a Heaven or some other place where her consciousness lives on, then I hope that she finds someone better than John.
