Were planning to go to Vegas again next month to clebrate some friends birthdays. One thing we always like to do is hit a buffet while were there. Ive heard The Buffet at the Bellagio & the buffet at the Wynn are two of the best? But what have you guys tried & would recommend?

Assuming Jimmy and Phoebe aren’t in town…
I haven’t been everywhere in Vegas, but I was very impressed with the Gold Coast. It’s off the beaten path, but it has a remarkable buffet.
yes, I know phebs spells her name differently.
I was in Vegas in 2004 and I remember the biggest buffet with the widest variety of food being at the Alladin.
During that trip, I ate at a buffet nearly everyday, but I soon discovered something strange: certain foods tasted the same at each buffet. For example, the mac & cheese, the chicken fettuccine alfredo, the meatballs, the french fries… all the same! A friend who worked at one of the shows there later told me that all the buffets use the same catering services/chefs, which is why certain “staples” tasted the same in each place!
With that said, the Alladin still had the best buffet because of the size of the buffet. They divided it by cuisine: Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, etc. Needless to say, trying a little bit from each cuisine left me overstuffed!
Things may have changed since 2004, so keep that in mind.
I play in the WSOP ( world series of poker) every year at the Rio. There is a buffet inside the rio that is very good.
They all change depending on the economy, but the Bellagio is probably the most consistent.
I hear the Bellagio’s is fantastic but I don’t know first hand. I found the world buffet at the Rio pretty outstanding, especially the bananas foster.
I really enjoyed the garden buffet at the Main Street Station hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. The price was quite a bit less than the strip hotels, but they had everything you could want. We went with a group of meat eaters, picky eaters and vegetarians (me and my best friend) and everybody found something good to eat and the service was super friendly. The interior looked like you were in San Francisco around the turn of the century.
If you like a little bit more swanky opulence, then you might like the Le Village Cafe at Paris Las Vegas which looks like you are in a lovely Parisian hamlet. They have a lot of delicious seafood.
And South Point Casino’s Garden Buffet is somewhere in between. I really enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable.
And for lots of fun, because it is the biggest buffet you will ever see, the Carnival Buffet at the Rio is lots of fun.
You really can’t go wrong with any of these. And in my opinion, you really can’t go wrong with just about any buffet at any of the big hotels in Vegas. Have fun and bon apetite!
I have also heard alot good things from the Carnival World buffet at the Rio so we definately have some good options and hopefully we get to check them all out. If not I think im leaning towards the Buffet @Bellagio & the one at the Rio. Thanks for all the good suggestion!
