Pretty damn straightforward i’m sure you’ll agree. Movies….Tv…..music, basically anyone who was in the public eye back when you were a teenager. Okay maybe crush is the wrong word here. Lets just say you admired them for more than their particular talent. Admit it, you had the raging hots for them did you not? =¬)

This all started way before I became a teenager, but here is a short list: Davy Jones, David Cassidy, Paul McCartney and Bobby Sherman.
@BoBo1946 Ooh yeah, wouldn’t have minded sharing some pillow talk with her back in her heyday. Whip crack a way Miss Day :¬)
Music:
Avril Lavigne
Kylie Minogue
Jem
Tv:
Sarah Michelle Gellar
I could go on but thinking of Sarah Michelle Gellar still gives me urges.
Katherine Ross, Adrienne Barbeau, Dyan Cannon
David Cassidy, James Taylor, David Bowie and pre-teen crush was Bobby Sherman (played on Here Come the Brides with David Soul in the late 60’s early 70’s).
Apparently, we will have to wait a few moments for @Zyx to, ahem, get over certain urges before coming back to answer further.
Jacqueline Bisset was a babe.
Ooh, yeah Bobby Sherman. Peter Tork of the Monkees (mostly because my 8th grade English teacher grew up with him). Tony Curtis. George Harrison. Little Joe Cartwright and Afdam Cartwright (torn between two brothers! <sigh>), Troy Donahue… I could go on forever.
Oh yesss… Adam Cartwright. Loved him. He later went on to star in Trapper John, MD.
I’m still a teenager but anyway:
Bill Kaulitz (when I was 11–12)
and Gerard Way (now that I’m 13)
Veronica Lake in “I Married a Witch” completely seduced me through the medium of a little black and white television set with a dodgy picture. I have never entirely gotten over it.
When I was 3 I was a fan of David Cassidy (Partridge Family). I had David Cassidy posters and I was a member of the David Cassidy Fan Club.
Then when I was a teen, it was Shaun Cassidy (David’s brother), Erik Estrada CHiPs), Scott Baio (Happy Days).
Then slightly older I thought Brad Pitt was so cute. I also like Derek Jeter, to this day. I thought Jason Giambi (another Yankee) was cute.
Ohh, and River Phoenix. I forgot about that one.
Leonardo DiCaprio. ha….well. that was more 6th gradeish..
In middle school I was all about the R&B singer Mario..
those were the first two that came to mind.
Veronica in the Archie comic books.
Linda Ronstadt.
Dan Fogelberg.
now my teenage years were mostly taken up with Tony Hadley (lead singer with Spandau Ballet) and Robert Urich from a tv series called Vegas, and of course Shaun Cassidy from The Hardy Boys (another tv series). oooooo and for quite a while Cliff Richard but I got over that one lol. Happy days, happy innocent days :-)
Oh. And Mr. Spock, of course. I love those emotionally unavailable fellas!
Teenage years? Not sure but Leonardo DiCaprio was my heartthrob as a kid…
Pete Wentz, Billie Joe Armstrong, Gerard Way, and for some reason Chad Michael Murray.
Embarrassingly enough, I had pictures of all of these fellas taped up in my locker, where are the other pre-pubescent girls could see them, and we would have conversations about how adorable they were. Ugh. :P
Matthew Broderick. He was cute and his movie characters seemed to be approachable. I also had a secret crush on Dick Van Dyke, Jimmy Stewart and Bill Cosby. Unfortunately, they were all married.
Dominique Sanda was the most beautiful woman in the world, as far as I was concerned, in 1977.
D.B. Sweeney in The Cutting Edge
Cary Elwes in The Princess Bride
Johnny Depp in Benny and Joon
Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise
I was so madly in love with Laura in The Little house on the Prairie when I was a kid. She was honestly my first major crush.
@jazzjeppe I had to choke reading your response as my sister looked exactly like Laura Ingalls when she was little. My mom took to dressing her in a prairie style which really made the likeness rather beat-you-over-the-head obvious!
As for me, Kristy McNichol, Jo from Facts of Life, Marcia-Marcia-Marcia Brady, Lani O’Grady (the older sister from Eight is Enough), and, curiously, Chad Everett from Medical Center. There are some things you just can’t explain!
Robert Shaw after I saw him in Jaws.Did you know about this? XD
Sophia Loren, Mary Tyler Moore, and Diana Ross.
Billy D. Williams “You want my arm to fall off?”
@chyna
“Was he in Brian’s Song?’”
I read the lyrics and I didn’t see any mention of Billy D. in them. ;-)
@Brian1946 Wrong guy. I’m thinking Billy Dee Williams. :-)
@chyna I’m 14 and I actually know who David Cassidy is! I watched a lot of the Partridge Family show episodes on Hulu last year. He is cute.
I never really had/will have any “crushes” on famous people, but the one guy that came close was Richard Thomas (John Boy from the Waltons).
Yes, I’m a strange 14-year-old. I like watching old shows a lot better than current ones. There’s Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, The Waltons, The Partridge Family….
@Kayak8 I wanted to mention Chad Everett, but I was afraid no one would know who he was. He was a handsome fellow wasn’t he?
Here’s a few that I forgot: Henry Winkler as The Fonz, Eric Idle from Monty Python, all of the Bay City Rollers, Randolph Mantooth as Gage from Emergency and Christopher Knight as Peter of the Brady Bunch.
@chyna yes he was in Brain’s Song
Also, I was referring to Billy D when he starred in Lady Sings the Blues.
@Kardamom OMG, I totally agree with you on Randolph Mantooth. What did you think about Kent McCord from Adam-12 (the cute one!)?
@Kayak8 Oh yes, totally. Wow! You are bringing back some fond memories : ) I always thought Don Adams as agent 86 on Get Smart was pretty handsome too. I loved his suits and I always wanted to wear clothes like 99—Barbara Feldon wore. Oh, and don’t forget Larry Hagman as Major Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie!
@ChocolateReigns – I saw Richard Thomas walking down the street last year near Times Square. He’s still a very handsome man.
My crushes were on John Taylor of Duran Duran, Sting and Daryl Hall. They’re all apparently still great-lookers today, too. And talented. None of my crushes were ever just eye candy.
GERALDO RIVERA! There, I said it… And still do.
@aprilsimnel I wonder what he’s been doing lately….<<looks it up on imdb>> here we go! Interesting, he played Pa in a Little House on the Prairie movie. A lot of made-for-TV movies. Nothing I recognize. :(
In my case, it’d be more like, “What celebrity didn’t you have a crush on as a teenager?” But here’s a short list…
Alan Rickman (but that one never really ended)
Richard Gere
Ashton Kutcher
Oh gracious, I’ve just remembered a few more that @Kayak8 might also appreciate:
Burt Ward from Batman
Desi Arnaz from I Love Lucy (even though that was already in re-runs when I was a little kid)
Lyle Waggoner from the Carol Burnett Show,
Bill Bixy from The Courtship of Eddie’s Father
Alejandro Rey who played Carlos on The Flying Nun
John Astin from The Addams Family
Walter Koenig from Star Trek
There was (and still is) only one – David Duchovny! I have not been in my teens for 12 years now, so I consider this to be a pretty serious crush. ;)
