Still torrents last time I checked.
Usenet is worth looking into but not p2p

I have long been a fan of the eMule/eDonkey/ed2k network, and I never understood how Limewire was so popular as the Gnutella network (the one that Limewire uses) is severely lacking.

My favorite client is MLDonkey with the Sancho front-end. It is a bit tricky to set up at first, but it can handle eMule, torrents, and HTTP/FTP downloads all in one interface.

The pirate bay. http://thepiratebay.org/
you get to read other users reviews before you download.

If you were referring to clients i suggest U Torrent, very light on ram unobtrusive and does nor require all that Java bulk

I like BTJunkie for torrents. I’ve never had a problem as long as I make sure my downloads are community verified.

Another vote for bit torrent and for UTorrent – definitely the best interface I’ve seen so far.
It also bears repeating that downloading movies, music, or software that you don’t own is illegal, at least in the United States. Be careful!
