Do you have a "Luca Brasi", somone to have your back no matter what?
Who is your Luca Brasi? When there is an issue or person need handled but can’t do it yourself because you could get fired, expelled, etc. who do you have that will handle it and not be afraid to get dirty doing it? If you don’t know who Luca Brasi is rent a DVD of the Godfather.

Nope, I don’t have one. And I think I prefer it that way. I don’t want someone who’s going to help me do the dirty work – I want someone who’s going to stop me from doing it in the first place. I don’t want to be accepted by someone no matter what I do, I want to be accepted because someone sees something in me they think is good.
Edit: Is that what was meant? Or did I misunderstand the question?
I have a friend that I can honestly say has never let me down once in the 14 years we’ve been friends. Not only has he never faded on me, but he has extended himself more than anyone else ever has – including my parents.
I need to call him..thanks Hypo for indirectly reminding me to keep in better touch with those that matter.

my hubby has my back, always. If I ever wanted anything I know he’d do his damnedest to get it for me somehow, if I needed anything the same thing. If I’ve had a lousy day I know his arms are always there to wrap around me no questions asked. I get so much strength from his just being there. I’m so lucky and I know it too. This is a really good question honey,

No, never have had the pleasure; but I don’t really see it as being a bad thing. It’s made me alot more self-reliant, not having anyone in my life that I can count on being there for me.
