According to this site Dr Foster And Dr Smith. The bearded dragon should get meal worms and veggies.

The same applies with mealworms, use small mealworms for small dragons, and increase the mealworm size as the dragon’s size increases. A hatchling, up to 2 months will eat mostly insects, picking at finely chopped greens here and there.

they will eat just about anything they can get in their mouths. If you feed him a green been, make sure it is a long one. I think I read that mealworm skin can be detrimental if that is all they get to eat. (impaction)? They are better if you pick through them to find the “white ones”. They are the ones with the softest skin and easier to digest.

Its not their typical food source but they will eat them. I know my friend usually goes with superworms, but meal worms are most likely ok too.
