I mean, that’s assuming you ever do. I know I do it on a regular basis. A song that you’d just heard or remembered. Or just a random tune that got stuck in your head out of nowhere.

Just now, I started singing “Strychnine” by the Vindictives because I read your answer about embarrassing parents.
@Seelix We appear to have come full circle then!
This
I make up the words as I belt it out…because that is what I do. ;)
@lucillelucillelucille – I used to work at a fast food place, and one of my coworkers used to sing my name into the microphone to that tune (when the restaurant was empty).
White Winter Hymnal – Fleet Foxes. I’m teaching myself the harmonies.
@lucillelucillelucille That Pavarotti…he really is all man isn’t he? :¬D Well, he’s dead apparently but I know that’s how you like your men XD
@Seelix- Now that cracks me up! XD
@ucme-You’re darned right! Have I ever mentioned the crush I had on him? He had the best eyebrows ever!:))
@lucillelucillelucille Were’nt they Italian caterpillars? A delicacy in Milan I believe. Dear old Luciano would snack on them during rehearsals. Only when peckish of course, had to watch his waistline :¬)
@ucme -I know! They were huge but I loved them! Sometimes they would be pencilled in extra dark, other times not so much. Then when he sang, they went up at a pretty steep angle.I loved it!! :))
Well, it was a techno song, so I was just making ‘umph umph, uh-uh, do-chh-doo’ sounds lol.
@AmWiser I hate you for that, just though i’d let you know! XD
I was just going through songs to make a CD for someone. Last one I let play was Hijo de La Luna, which I sort of sang along with. The Sarah Brightman version.
Jimmy Reed and Little Walter (harmonica) – Kansas City. I was making up my own words and dancin’ like a white girl.
It was my favourite Christmas song:
On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love brought to me:
12 years in prison,
for 11 grams of cocaine,
10,000 dollars,
9 nights in Paris,
8 Russian wolfhounds,
7 Arab houseboys,
6 diamond shirtstuds,
5 go-old rings,
4 credit cards,
3 fast cars,
2 VTRs
and a portable mini-TV
from The Twelve Days Of Christmas by Winston Tong
I just belted out Greendays ‘21 guns’ in the car yesterday. Love that song!
And, I always sing my gooses favorite baby song, to the tune of ‘Row, row, row your boat’, only ‘our’ version goes like this…..
‘Row, row, row your flappys, gently down the stream, Marwyn, Marwyn, Marwyn, Marwyn, life is but a dream!’ hahaha
He falls asleep every time. ;-)

I was singing Winter Wonderland as it was snowing and the dog was running around in it and I was hauling in wood for the fireplace.
Yesterday I sang White Christmas in the car with Der Bingle.
“Just To See Her” Smokey Robinson.

“Diarrhea”: for my nephew.
I woke up with the Swedish Chef song stuck in my head, and sung it aloud as I cooked French toast.
“Life is like a hurricane, here in…”
I blame my younger brother. He was binging on cartoon themes the other day, and managed to get a million songs stuck in my head. I don’t even remember what the last non-theme song I sang was.
@deliasdancemom That’s hilarious that we both posted songs from Phantom. And my 4 yr old has recently become really interested in that movie. She walks around the house singing “come to your angel of music” and “the phantom of the opera is there, inside my mind”. It’s so cute!
Holly Jolly Christmas, just because I heard ol’ Burl Ives singing it at the grocery store. Love that song.
Baby it’s cold outside (:
Some song I made up on the spot about my cat. I sang along with Eloise by the Damned on my way home from school yesterday. Love that song.
@psychocandy OMG! I thought I was the only person that made up songs about my cat. I sing to him almost every day.
@psychocandy, @Kardamom – my cats get daily serenades. Both of ‘em. The melody is usually based on a real song, but the words be all mine.
I think a lot of crazy cat people cat lovers sing to their cats.
@psychocandy We don’t have a dog anymore, but when he was alive, I used to sing to him too. I also sing to the pets that I take care of when I house sit.
So here it is Merry Christmas everybody’s having fun… we’ve just had our class Christmas party…....sixty 5–6 year olds, party food, Father Christmas, dancing, singing, tinsel, glitter!!! whooo Hoooo!!!
