clorophyll?
The blood of the grass as it lies bleeding on top of its amputated brethren, mixed with the fumes of gasoline, oil, and the dust raised by the wind force of the spinning blade traveling over the ground. The odor you find so enticing is the smell of grass tortured and decapitated by anal retentive people who don’t understand the beauty of long and wild grass growing freely.
