What is the importance of human capital for a country's Gross Domestic Product?

I know there is an importance but for a GDP.. i Would just think capital goods.. So what is the importance for human capital?

I would just assume it’s because manpower is sorta valuable.

GDP is made up of things. The things are created by human capital. No human capital; no things; no GDP.

What does your assigned reading say about it?

I think it revolves around the marketability of the people. Like how educated they are in general that could make them more productive.
