Where to find an "average hours of sunshine" world map?

I would like to get insight into what are the most sunny countries and areas. One static map would be good, an interactive map perhaps with input for season or month would be even better!
I did some online searches, but could not find any.

Google is our friend While this doesn’t have countries specifically mapped, it’s not difficult to look at this map, compare it to a standard world map and derive the information you’re looking for.
Thanks @BarnacleBill! Not very granular unfortunately.. I want to use it for comparing the sunshine in NY to Bay Area in US for example..
In looking at that map, they are both in the 2000— 1000 range, and would have compable amounts of sunshine. Anything more granular than that level you don’t need a map, but statistical numbers and will need to set up tables.
Are we talking cloudy days? Because shouldn’t the sun shine on every place on earth an equal amount over the course of the year?
I want to get a daily history of sun shine hours for Mbarara. could you please show where I can find this information?
