(NSFW) Rex Ryan may have a foot fetish. Why are they bothering him with this?
I read a news article on a sports website that the head coach of the NY Jets may have a foot fetish. Why is the media giving him so much trouble with this. They kept asking him about it and he kept saying that it is a personal matter and he refused to discuss it. Yet they kept asking him about it anyways. It was like they could care less about asking him about football or the Jets. Why must the media meddle in his personal life so much. Why are they judging him like so badly. I have a thing for feet and this makes me feel terribly self conscious about it. I do not feel like there is anything wrong with Rex Ryan, me, or anyone else who likes feet.
How would these people like it if they had everything they did in the bedroom made public and was expected to answer for it. Nobody should be tormented like that.

The media focuses on whatever they think will get them a “good story”. So in other words, it has nothing to do with the fetish specifically – it’s simply something for them to run their mouths about so they get more viewers/readers.
Edit: You should never allow the media to permeate your life to the point that it has the ability to make you self-conscious. Be yourself and be okay with it. You aren’t hurting anyone by having a foot fetish.

Yeah, if you’re anyone famous, you can’t even take a shit in peace. Don’t let that upset you though. Foot fetishes are completely fine, and all the power to that Rex dude and anyone else who likes feet.

Well, his problem is that he is the one who made it public. He and his wife posted foot fetish videos of her clearly showing her face and put them on swingers sites, Youtube, etc. along with a whole lot of information about what they’d like to do and have done to them and what he’d like to watch being done to his wife, which appears to go way beyond foot appreciation. When you are a public figure and you put such explicit information out there without thinking about your privacy, it’s going to get some attention. It might have behooved them not to have photographed her face and no one would have known it was them. It’s kind of hard to ask for privacy after you disseminated the information yourself. It’s a simple case of poor judgment. I don’t think the fact that his “thing” is feet is what is drawing all the attention, but rather his astonishing lack of sense about how to maintain your privacy.
