Just testing out Fluther to see how it works. What do you all like best and what would you improve?

I work for an online education company and we’re interested in developing a Q&A community feature, similar to what is set up here. I’m new to fluther and wondering what everyone likes/doesn’t like.

All your answers can be found by reading a lot of the questions and answers posted. Personally, I just like the site and the people that are on it. Feel free to look around and learn what the community is about:-)
Welcome to Fluther!
I think Fluther is perfect just as it is.
Hang around a bit and I think you will agree. :D
The sense of community is very strong on this site. Generally speaking, everyone is mature and respectful, despite the wide spectrum of political/social/religious views. Many of us consider it our ‘home’ on the internet.
We are kind of like a family. We don’t take no crap, but conversely we defend each other and our right to be wise, silly or stupid with lots of ribbing, if necessary. Browse around, take a look, and be warned, @Dog ‘s teeth are shiny and sharp, when necessary.
Look over some of the past questions in Meta and you will see what people like and dislike.
I love the comments under the user names.
I love the moderation.
I love the community.
And the avatars are sooooo cute!
Okay, I have an improvement they could make:
When you do a search on a subject, it shows a lot of questions that have that subject. It would be cool if they could show which of those questions to which you posted answers. Sometimes I am looking for something I had seen before, and I get lost in all the questions that have that subject mentioned.
I hate it – but I wouldn’t change a thing.
I also wouldn’t join any club that would have me as a member anyway – and they have – so I am not really here. I will join your new community, though, if you won’t accept me.
Oh, and the water theme. It’s lovely.
Stop confusing me, Zennie. I’m impaired.
@JilltheTooth: hmmm. I’m leaving that one alone! ;-P
I think there is a good balance of truly helpful answers, very interesting people and wittiness, too.
Just take time to browse through some of the questions and answers, I think you will find it refreshing.
Welcome to Fluther!
I like the people.
I like that there are no advertisements once you are a member.
I like that the mods keep mean people away.
I like that I can be helpful to people.
I like learning new things, and I have learned a lot here.
I wish I could save my favorite question, both mine and others, in my profile, so I could access them easily.
Someone above suggested checking other META questions. I recommend the same thing.
I’m not exactly sure what you want to have developed by the end of the project, but why not just try Federated Fluther? I don’t know much in great detail in how it works, either, but it’s basically like having your own Fluther.com in your website; questions asked at your site are put into the Federated category (and either General or Social) of Fluther, where this community, as well as the website-in-question’s community, can discuss, and questions asked on Fluther can even be pulled to your website. Check it out and see if it’s what you really want.
Here is a website with the integrated FF system.
<Runs naked through the room, screaming “Happy Hannuchristanzaafestule!!”>
I like that I can do that here. No one else lets me run around naked.
@Fred931 Hey, they’ve got to be initiated somehow…
@JilltheTooth I’m leaving that one alone too. Needs further clarification and explanation.
Although, it is very early in the morning where @seazen is. Never mind, I know what he is doing.
Someone PM me the inside joke. I think @JilltheTooth is drunk or something. :P
@Fred931 I think she’s been in the wine tonight…
Yeah, she admitted it on a different Q. Haha. Now it is coming back to haunt her.
What are you guys talking about? She’s always like this.
Tipsy! I was just tipsy! A little Christmas cheer, that’s all. Just enough that after a phone call I forgot I was on Fluther and went to bed. Guess I’ll be living with that awhile, huh… ;-)
Hehe, I just realized that it never registered that I hit 5k… so maybe fluther doesn’t always work…
@cak Wait… you get whoopie when you hit 5k? Why was this not mentioned before…
@cak Too bad I can’t find those. How do I claim my whoopie?
