I had some delicious tea.

I laughed my ass off.

I lost The Game.

My kids have come to stay with me for their winter break from school.

I have had enough money to buy them gifts for Christmas.

All my bills are paid, and there’s still a little money in the bank.

Here’s mine:

I received a package of handwritten thank you notes from a class of 1st graders, whose project I donated to at DonorsChoose.org. Adorable beyond belief.

I got the latest copy of Smithsonian Magazine in the mail and saw they published my Letter to the Editor.

I got to take my 89 year old Mom to the airport for her to spend Christmas at my brother’s house on the beach in Virginia – the first time she’s EVER gone somewhere for Christmas and let someone else do all the work while she kicks back and enjoys!

Fuck, this is hard.

1. My youngest climbed out of his crib and fell to the floor today but he’s okay – that’s great news.
2. My oldest is absolutely a natural in ballroom dancing
3. I am coming to the end of my application to PhD programs process.

I was trapped in a 3 bedroom apartment for awhile, but I moved to a one bedroom in the same complex, and as a result, got extra money back from the lowered security deposit : )

I got to take a nap.

I’m alive lol.

I won fitty bones at work.

Finals are over.

Pillows. Soft.

I just ate a yummy Funfetti cupcake
My friend made me a magic wand as a joke gift. But then I broke it, so I feel like Ron Weasley. I super-glued it, so I hope it’s fixed.
I found out that I did better in my super-hard class than I thought I did, and the grade proves it!

I got to spend 20-ish minutes with my best friend yesterday.

It snowed, wahoooooo!

I finally got some real food in my stomach today.

I found the love if my life. I got accepted into Detroit’s Battle of the Bands and I got my lip pirced finally.

Yesterday, I made it home safely from Southern California to Northern California. (About a 5 hour drive for me).

I’m currently eating a bomb ass roast beef sandwich from Togos.

And in about 30 minutes my dad and I are leaving to go see True Grit. Taking him to the movies is something I really miss doing so I’m excited to go. :)
