Do you believe if a woman or a man is led, obsessed, or moved by a # that it has some kind of spiritual if you will meaning to them and their life?

All I know is I keep seeing a certain number all over the place that stands out for me. I don’t know what it means.

Just to test this number 8 connection of hers, try adopting a different number for a day and see what you see. IMO all numbers are everywhere all the time. If number 8 is bringing you a connection though…I say run with it. I have a specific species of birds that bring me a sense of happiness every time they show up because of a connection I have to them.

Your reticular activating system has been inadvertently programmed to find that number interesting. It’s the same mechanism as confirmation bias (being more aware of things which confirm your beliefs).

It’s like when you get a new car, you suddenly see that model everywhere.

That being said, just because it has an explanation doesn’t mean it can’t have spiritual significance in your life. Perhaps the number coming to your attention directed your fate in some way? It lead you here didn’t it?

Being conscious of the mechanism will enable you to avoid becoming too unbalanced by the phenomenon.

I agree completely with what @Telos said. It is simply the way our brains work. You may be surrounded by numbers, but since you are specifically looking for that #8 subconsciously all the time, it will seem to you that it is appearing a lot. Truth is, you are just picking it out of a “crowd,” so to speak.
I think things like lucky numbers and similar type charms or things of that nature are harmless and good natured fun. 8 is also my lucky number, how about that. :)
