How do I use my iPhone for a password protected wi-fi?

I am trying to use my iphone 4 for a wireless network. I know how to set up the connection, but the problem is in addition to my router password I need to enter my connection username and password, too. What I mean is that I use 2 different connections from a single ISP with the same router and modem. So every time I want to connect to net with my laptop I enter my username and password. I do not want to change the way it works, but I am wondering if it is possible to access this network with my iPhone 4.
Any help is much appreciated. :)

So for your wifi network you have a username and password, or when you connect your laptop you need to log in after to be able to acess the internet?
on my iTouch, after selecting the network, it then asks for the password.
It sounds as though your network features a “captive portal”. This is the general name for the type of software that forces users to authenticate to a wireless network before using it. That is, you authenticate once with your wireless key to connect, then again with username and password to access network services.

posits one possible solution: turn off “Autofill for Names and passwords” in Safari.
This is probably the best guess out of the hits I found after Googling “iphone 4 captive portal”- you might want to try googling that string if the above doesn’t work.
There is an option from where you set the password and information in which you can enable the Iphone to access the WiFi network by allowing it to connect to the network and familiarize with it.
@XOIIO, with my laptop I find my wireless network, then I enter my router password to access my router. Then I create a new broadband connection from IE or Chrome. There I enter my ISP username and password.
So, basically I need to know how to create a new broadband connection with my iPhone, which I haven’t been able to find :(
