Have you ever had Juvederm (facial filler) and/or Botox injections?
Have you personally ever had Juvederm injections or used a similar facial filler (i.e. Sculptra, Radiesse or Restylane, etc.) or tried Botox? If so, can you please answer the following questions:
What were your results like?
How long did the results last?
Were you pleased with them and would you (or did you) repeat the procedure?
Did you find the cost to be worth it?
How uncomfortable was the procedure and did you require any down time afterward? Did you experience any side effects?

I used juvaderm to plump my lips. It looked very natural and just gave me a more youthful look. Haven’t needed Botox yet.
It lasted about a year. I would do it again, but I can’t afford it, Ns when I did it the first time it was a reward for loosing weight. I’ve gained a few back so plumpy lips are not ad important to my appearance as loosing those 15 lbs.
My friend (really!) got Botox to fight worry-lines in her forehead and between her eyes. It seemed to work well for her symptoms, and she was definitely happy with the results and thought it was definitely worth the cost… but then again, her partner paid for it. From what I remember, it lasted about 6 months. Her facial mobility was impaired, but it didn’t look unnatural or anything. She had to show me what she couldn’t do for me to notice.
Sorry, I know you’re looking for personal testimonials, but I hope that my info will help in some way.
@Anemone Thank you very much! That was quite helpful.
I have had restlylane and juvaderm, lips. It looks really natural and restalyne, I believe, is very long lasting. It hurts like buggery and you look like a freak for a few days. The last time, the doctor walks in and he’s older than my dad! (80’s). I almost fell off the chair thing. When he went to ‘sculpt’ the stuff in my lips he pressed so hard I had a big black bruise and still have a small hematoma. I never went back but it’s all ok. It makes your lipstick go on much nicer and your lipline looks really even and nice.
@trailsillustrated Ouch! Fortunately the lip area isn’t where I’m considering it. That sounds very painful!
@diavolobella carefull where you put it, it can be sort of lumpy- very careful with fillers go to someone board certified – not that that saved me from some old old man, check reviews. it’s $100 about per syringe.
@trailsillustrated Thanks. I’m researching the board certified providers in my area very carefully.

This is pretty funny. I searched for the term “Juvederm” on here the other day and not only found a question, but found I was the one who asked it back in 2010. For the record, I finally did go through with it a week ago, it didn’t hurt at all and I’m thrilled with the results. I certainly pondered it a long time. It looks completely natural and no one has noticed except to say I look “pretty today” or comment that I look better rested lately (my family was worried since 2012 was a very stressful year).
