Is there a specific time in the day that you stop and reflect regularly?

Either through prayer or simple reflection?
Why that time?
Is it in the morning first thing (like most mono-theistic religions) or perhaps with that first cup of coffee and cigarette?
Are these usually happy thoughts?
If not, why? And what are you doing to change that?

I think right before I go to sleep.
Perhaps that’s why I have so much trouble sleeping so often.
5 am…..I set my alarm for 5:45 and never fail to wake up at 5….I think it is part anticipation and part fear that the alarm won’t matter. I hate sleep and the time it wastes. LITS as it is…why bother??
Also at bedtime, tho cooking in winter or while gardening in summer as well.
Reflection seems to force itself on me, regardless of time. I do it at least once a day, often while I’m falling asleep (which is why I have such trouble falling asleep).
If it’s not when I’m drunk, it’s when I’m taking a shit or singing in the shower. Otherwise, I just act like it online.
But rest assured, all my shit is negative of course. :)
I was born to be a Gaul man, not live in this world swallowed by concrete.
My thinking and reflecting time is when I’m in the shower or bath, because it’s the only time I know I won’t be interrupted. The reflection is often the reason I spend so long in there. These days, my reflections are mainly positive ones, and mainly planning ahead. I think more about the future.
Probably the evening between 7pm and whenever I hit the sack. It’s the only time I feel relaxed enough to do so.
Usually while i’m taking a good old dump! Lock myself away in the temple of ablutions, newspaper in hand & contemplate the days events.Until a singularly undesirable & yes uninvited fart kind of punctures the ambiance. Still, I do try :¬)
Daily. All day. I am the reflection.
In the A.M. at the break of dawn, during that first cup of coffee before the TV, radio, or computer start up.
I honestly wish I could stop reflecting—I have a long commute twice each day, and I spend a fair amount of time ruminating on those drives. And in the shower. And while dressing. And while getting ready for bed at night. And in bed. And upon awakening. And when my mind is not completely engaged with other activities.
I spend a lot of time reflecting – shower, bathroom breaks, driving, etc. Now that I think of it, a huge chunk of my time is spent reflecting. Usually, it’s positive and I’m so very glad to be where I am now. Sometimes, I reflect on a negative relationship I’ve had my life or something along those lines.
There has been a time or two, when I’m all alone and it’s dark here and I wonder; is zen online? Will he tell me he loves me? Will this be the day?
I do that on my walks and at night when things are quiet.Ahhhh, quiet :))
They are usually happy thoughts. If I have a problem,I will find a way to get a good outcome even if what I have to do is initially very painful.
I pray every night before bed. Three or four times a week I read a little bit of the Bible and/or write in a journal. I am too damn lazy to do it very day. But when I when I do it, I sleep much more soundly.
I meditate on things when I out jogging in the early mornings. I kind of go into a trance in a world of my own where I examine all kinds of issues from all angles and aspects. It is the best part of my day. After an 8 mile jog I can deal with anything that fate has instore for me.
Once Alex and I hit the bed, finish with sex and turn off the lights..we take some time to reflect on our life and to thank each other, daily for our family and our children and our love.
No specific time. I just reflect as necessary. But I don’t recall reflecting very much, ever. Unless you count answering questions as being reflective.
