My ipad. I use the kindle app on my ipad more than iBooks though. Amazon has a better selection of books.
Personally, I really dislike the slow page refresh times of dedicated ebook readers.
Plus the ipad does a whole lot more than just books.
I like my Kindle. I agree that Amazon has a good selection. If you’re looking for just a dedicated ebook reader, then I think the Kindle is a good choice. Compared to the Sony and Nook, the refresh rate and screen contrast is better on the Kindle. For me, it looks nearly identical to paper and doesn’t appear to have a film in from on the words, like I experienced on my Sony. Barnes and Noble has more books to choose from, but the Nook’s battery life is a bit of an issue and the touch screen wasn’t as responsive as I had hoped. I think maybe the best thing to do is go to Best Buy or any other electronics store and try them all out and compare them together. That’s what I did and it made my purchase decision easier.
I’ve got a Novel. It aspires to be a poor man’s iPad, and does a decent job of it. She dan’t play flash videos, and ha’n’t got much power, but it’s an inexpensive e-reader. It uses the Android operating system, plays music, reads PDFs and EPub texts, has a photo gallery, a (slightly sticky) touchscreen interface, and can connect wirelessly to the Internet. Battery life is about six hours, if you leave the wifi off and don’t play music.
Whenever I don’t feel like hauling around my laptop, I do just fine on my Droid X. I really don’t have the disposable income to drop a few hundred dollars on something that can only do e-books, and I haven’t yet seen a good deal on the iPad-smacking Adam
