What is the most attractive small town you have ever visited?

Somewhere you probably came across just by chance and it seemed so perfect that you have never forgotten it.

Actually, that was my thought of the town I live in now. Came through in the 70’s. I never forgot it. I moved here in the mid 90’s.

Other than that, Estes Park, Co. But, of course, it IS a tourist attraction.

I’ve been blessed to have encountered so many great towns. The first few that come to mind are Old Town Alexandria, Virginia; Halifax, Vermont; Belize City, Belize; The Villages, Florida; and St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica.

@bkcunningham You didn’t mention any cowtowns in Kansas! Humph!

Love the little towns of middle and Eastern Tennessee.

Love Port Townsend, WA although it gets sort of touristy in the summer.

@marinelife if you haven’t already, you should visit the town of Clinton, TN, that @Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard suggested.

My favourite place in the world is Drumnadrochit in Scotland.

@Leanne1986 I would so LOVE to visit Ireland and Scotland…

@Dutchess_III me too. It is on my bucket list. My husband has been and says he’s afraid I’ve fantasized it for so long, I’ll be disappointed. I say I’d be the judge of that.

Gatehouse of Fleet, Scotland – really sweet and picturesque little town… Ooh, and Melrose – also in Scotland… Yes, definitely Melrose.

@Dutchess_III I’ve never been to Ireland but I have yet to go to a place in Scotland that I don’t like. I hope to live there eventually.

It took my breath away. Cobblestone streets, an 800 year-old tower, beautiful homes and shops lining each street, a canal. Just amazing!
