I want to try to improve one of my dog’s teeth by offering her raw bones. Where do I look for them and what kind is most effective for gingivitis? I got her Greenies but she won’t chew on anything like that.

I get beef bones from the butcher. My dog thinks I am the greatest. XD
thanks. I’ll try the meat dept at the local , large grocery . (; They always say , ‘hi” so next time I hope I remember to ask.
I use dentastix for my dogs. They are really good.
I buy Busy Bones for my dog. I also let her chew on rawhide bones.
The butcher, for sure. My mom would get a knuckle bone and then you wouldn’t see the dog for like 3 days after that. ;)
Beef knuckles are great, as are beef soup bones. You do not want to give a dog pork or chicken bones because they splinter and will get caught in their throats.
I get oxtails and beef ribs from my local butcher. She’s a fairly big dog (labrador mix) but not big enough to handle a beef knuckle. Lamb bones would suit a small dog. Don’t use pork though; it’s very difficult for dogs to digest pork in any form. Plain rawhide rolls are good for teeth and gums and will help with the gingivitis.
But my female won’t touch rawhide rolls. She won’t chew on anything.
My trainer said no bones from China. They have their animal food recalled due to strange and dangerous ingredients.
Right now I have free range rawhide bones from Brazil.
