If you could only hear one sound for the rest of your life what would it be?
If there was only one sound or noise that you could hear what would you want it to be? Would it be the sound of the rain? Or the sound of the dishwasher? Would it be the sound of a car?

I would want to hear the sound of a wolf howling.
It would be the sounds of the woods.
Music, music and more music.
Okay if it’s music you only get one song.
Wind Chimes
Is it good etiquette to change a question after its been asked? (Just joking!)
The sound of one hand clapping.
What a sadistic question! Everyone who has replied would eventually go nuts at their preferred sound (even if it’s one they really enjoy). @daytonamisticrip would make an evil, evil god.
I was thinking the sound of a woman moaning, but even that would get old.
Also the sound of a voice saying “You’re awesome” or something of that sort…but even then it would end up devaluing the compliment around time 113,457 that it’s said.
I’ll take this
Tomorrow ,I could change my mind, but it would be too late, wouldn’ it?damnit ;)
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
Sshh! :¬)
The sound of the bell ringing for a jackpot win at a casino at a lucky slot machine.
That bell ringing, means big bucks are coming to some lucky person.

The sound of every scrap of music that was ever written and that ever will be made, stitched together into one song.
That, or the sound of silence.
Just the sound of multiple the animals you would hear if you went outside near a mountain.
@ezamine Really, animals are a pretty quiet bunch. Most of the animal noises that I encounter when I sit quietly in the woods are made by grasshoppers on the leaves, followed by squirrels, then the occasional owl, then the odd coyote.
That’s my point, quiet and peaceful.
