Has anyone ever made a career test for those who don't want to follow the norm?
Careers like Exotic Dancer, or Mob Flunkie, ect…

Could you define “career test”?
online or multiple choice, or anything from a career councilor….or comedy book…or something like an aptitude or interest survey.
I don’t see why you’d need a career test to know that you want to be an exotic dancer. You don’t exactly need college for it. Do it, see if you like it. If you don’t, do something else. I’m not sure who would aspire to be a stripper, but to each his own.
All the career tests I’ve seen have to aimed at those who wish to attend college for the career of their choice. Sorry to say, but stripping isn’t a career. It’s a job, and there is a difference.
@talljasperman – Generally, don’t the tests really ask about your personality, and then match you up with the career best suited to their traits and talents? If that’s the case, then really it’s just a matter of adding a broader spectrum of results to the tests already in place.
@lbwhite89 – Dita Von Teese. Anything can be a career if you work at it.
A lot of the time a career is chosen for us by default. I wanted to be a teacher after graduating, because of the large salaries being offered to teachers with degrees. Better counsels prevailed and I went to work as a library assistant (and found my vocation).—-I think I would have made a very bad teacher.—
I believe that your example would fall under the entertainment category. Career evaluations are very general and don’t target specific jobs.
@YARNLADY – I’m not kidding. I took one of the tests in High School.
#1 was Locksmith
#2 was Wastewater treatment engineer
It is safe to say those never happened. But I can do simple lock-picking.
@all Sure I am interested in the subject area… but one of the Topics is Humor… feel free to make up some funny careers that wouldn’t be on a standard career profile
