If I wanted to find a touching few passages about all the rock-n-roll dreamers out there who just didn't make it to the silver cup but are more important because they fought the fight. -Where would I begin?

Rich in songwriting because of their experience. Passing it all on to the next one who may “make it” (in their 15 minutes of fame ).

You would probably have more answers, if you go in-depth into your question. i, like most other Fluthers, are not really sure what your question is about.jp
I do not know how to navigate this website. I just went in a circle 3 times.
Awww. . We just saw a documentary about the band Anvil. They’re Canadian and did the rounds in the mid 80 with the hard rock hair bands of the time. They were the only ones in the group that didn’t ‘make it’... and the documentary shows them in an attempted come back and it’s so heart breaking and heart warming at the same time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anvil_(band)
One quote from the movie, ‘Anvil just got left behind, but everyone ripped off their stuff because they were great.’

As to your question, there was an interview on NPR’s sradio show Sound Check with the guitarist Bert Jansch in which the influence he had had on famous rock stars was talked about. You can probably find an audiofile of it on NPR’s website and might find some quotes from that.
