What do you think that your toys/pets do or would do when you aren't around?

Asked by troubleinharlem (7999points) January 2nd, 2011

Yeah… I just saw Toy Story 3 and I was thinking about when I saw the first one when I was younger – I would try to bust into my room and see if they were doing anything, or if they had moved at all.

Look at each other and say ” Is she gonna eat more today?” Then they would all start placing their bets…..

I think my dogs are thinking “hope she’s getting me some more food while she is out”

Toys: nothing

Pets: Nothing if I’m lucky. They mostly lie on the couch. Occasionally, they cruise through the kitchen looking for something to eat.

Gormless Prince went into suspended animation when I was out and would sleep in his bed all day.

My cats sleep all day. I’m pretty convinced of this because they sleep all day when I’m home. I’ve tried giving them a to-do list when I go out (dishes, sweeping, vacuuming) but they never do anything. Lazy freeloaders…

The first two cats in my life had a detective agency. The would cruise around town in their red convertible looking for crimes to solve. They had sensors that told them when we would be close to getting home so they could get their before us. Then, they would leap onto the couch and look like they had been sleeping all day. The cats in my life now aren’t that ambitious. They just invite friends over for bridge and cocktails.
