My friend is designing a tattoo, and it incorporates the flag of Italy. Will they be able to use the color white on it?

The tattoo ink is opaque, so I don’t see why not. It should come out fine.
Yes. I have one on my palm. It is entirely white.
That is not a joke by the way. I don’t mean that my whole palm is white, that the design is all in white ink, no black.
I thought certain colors are more susceptible to fading though, white being the most vulnerable to this followed by other lighter shades like yellows. Or am I totally wrong here?
Yep, white ink is common, and gorgeous.
You are right. White fades the quickest. It turns a dirty-white before it fades.
If done by the right person, though, it will stay.
White tattoos are fun because they are very easy to conceal if one needs to.
I’m highly contemplating getting white maori style sleeves.
If the artist uses an inferior ink, white can “yellow” a bit with over-exposure to uv rays! I have two sleeves, both thighs covered, and a “tramp-stamp” on my lower back, and I have some white in pretty much every tat I have!
An artist is only as good as his ink!
@ D. Do it! I love white as well because you can’t usually see it from afar. I’ve only had a handful of people notice my palm without me showing them and its been a couple of years now.
its possible. It looks really good on dark or black people. I have an Arkansas flag on my arm but I didn’t get any white put in. I figure I’m white enough to take care of it. Haha! Other than needing a touch up, it looks fine without it.
I am so pale that my skin is almost transparent. White looks absolutely beautiful.
Really? Does anyone else have an opinion on how white ink looks on dark folks? I didn’t think it would show up on us…
II haven’t actually seen it but I would think so.
I am dark complected, but I’m also “white”! I have always heard the same, but it really pops on my skin! Most black people I know usually just stick to “Black Ink”, but you never know until you try!
I was told that it could be splotchy.
If the wrong person tattoos white it won’t stay, I’ve seen it.
I heard the body can reject it on certain people
Yes in fact you can get a tattoo draw in white as well as having one colored in white. My cousin actually has the Italian flag on her back and the white showed up nicely. If you have any further interest in white tattooing look up white ink tattoos online there are a lot of images, and different styles to look at. My boy friend is looking into getting a white tattoo, and so far has sen some really cool stuff.
I just got a white ink tattoo
needs to be touched up a bit and is still kinda red cause well i got it yesterday lol
Thank you. I’ll post another picture when its fully healed.
You did get it? That came out amazing!
