Cher (singer/actress) and “ee”
My last name when spelled properly has a cédille under the letter ‘c’. I’ve got this one.
<—a Frenchy
Think of a french accent, someone talking about baguettes, croissants, La penn, Le haw haw haw… Sh, shoosh. sheh-ri. maybe?
You have to, also, make the “r” a rolling French one to sound authentic. Listen to it said correctly.
Comme ça
oh ok, so..
che—> shuh (sh- as in ship, not ch- as in chair)
rie—> hhe (the French “r” sounds like hissing in one’s throat)
shuh-hhe
I love Miss Dior Cherie, on a side note. Its pretty awesome. Have you tried the J’Adore? And if you like those… Mademoiselle by Chanel? :D
@laureth: I included the pronunciation ^^.
It sounds so much better in French that listening to it twice is un plaisir.
@klutzaroo Yes I think Mademoiselle is awesome =)
@laureth Thanks for the word pronunciation link! So that’s how French people pronounce the word..
