do you mean toggle fullscreen mode on and off?
Hitting ‘F’ should cycle through view modes of the window.
No, where the background in the middle of the window isnt there and you can drag pictures right into the workspace.
Well, I work on a Mac in PS everyday and I don’t know what you’re really asking.
Just use File ยป Place or open the image in PS and copy/paste into your workspace.
on mac you can also drag images from a browser to PS, not sure if its possible on windows.
On the mac version the photoshop window is maximized, and the smaller window with the picture or project is opne, but you can still see the desktop and icons. On the version I have there is a dark grey background. I would like to be able to see the desktop like you can in the mac version. I’m not sure if they took it out for windows or maybe in cs5
so having found an image of PS running on Windows I see what youre asking.
You don’t want all the panels and the workspace inside a window. If there is not anything in the preferences or in theWindow menu, I don’t think it’s possible.
Dang, it looks like they took it out. That sucks. Thanks anyway.
That’s how the windows version has always been, and there isnt an option to change that.
