How does one join a clan or team for Black Ops on XBox live?

Asked by mirza (5057points) January 6th, 2011

So, I see all these clans everytime I play Black Ops online. It’s kind of my first game that I actually play online. So I was wondering how does one go about joining a clan or team. I cant really create my own since none of my friends actually play online. I already tried to the Call of Duty forums but it wasnt helpful.

Thanks.

Haha, build up a motley….....good selection of like minded folk on your friends list. From there, alliances will be formed & clan tags added for mutual arse kickin….enjoyment. Another benefit is you’d be able to happily own noobs via the team deathmatch playground. Happy gaming :¬)

Make your own clan. Then invite people you end up in squads with to your clan. Or they may invite you in response to your invite.

Have you tried these forums at all and seen if you can sort of piggyback onto one of these current clans? Most clans do things by “recruiting” at time, in which case you can “apply” and see if you can get in.

It’s less fun than just creating them with friends, though. Like @ucme said, the best way to do so is just add people you have played with (random adding of people is for the most part A-OK) and then just see where that ends up.

That being said, Battlefield Bad Company 2 all the way.

Most of the clans you see online are really just groups of friends that play together, and nothing more.

I agree with TheOnlyNeffie
A clan could be a couple a things 1. just you and friends just playing for fun
2. actaully have a team and challenge other clans for fun or 3. make a clan for your self and you being the only one in it.

i have been using my clan ever since call of duty 4 come out so, you really have to see what are you looking for but hey its just a game haha.
