Did anybody here watch the movie Black Swan and love it? Do you think Natalie Portman or Mila Kunis deserve a Golden Globe or an oscar?

I saw ’’ Black Swan’’ on New Year’s Eve and loved it. I know it was a very complex movie that shows you what can happen if someone is too much of a perfectionist, but I thought the acting was awesome. Do you think the actors or the movie itself is going to pick up any awards?

It was better than 90% of the crap out there, but I wasn’t blown away. Natalie Portman was fabulous, but Mila Kunis didn’t stand out at all. I think Barbara Hershey as the mom gave a better performance.

I think it definitely will. It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen; it’s right up my alley; I love psychological thrillers and this was an excellent one. I know that with any movie that receives high amounts of praise, there will be those who overrate it, but I am not exaggerating in my love for the movie. It was very dark and intense and I believe I liked it even more because Swan Lake is one of my all-time favorite compositions, composed by my favorite composer.

I think it’ll win Best Picture and Portman will get Best Actress (Oscars).

I liked it quite a bit. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it scored big at Osars.

I thought it was fantastic. I agree that Barbara Hershey gave an incredible performance, along with the others. I loved the cinematography – thought it went very well with the themes explored. All in all, I think it’s Oscar worthy. I thought Portman was fabulous.
