I’d like to see Lifehouse live. Cliche but true.

The National would be great! I want to see Alela Diane, Eleni Mandell, Dave Matthews and finally James Taylor. Every year I say how I would love to see him. For some reason it never works out.

Missed Bob Seger last time he came to town and upset that he doesn’t have anything else planned since or in the near future. Cause I like that old time rock and roll !!!

Michael_Huntington's avatar

Hopefully Carcass will come
I’m waiting for GWAR, Motorhead and possibly Immortal.

I’m seeing Prince next week at Madison Square Garden as a belated Christmas present.

I would like to see a full concert with Pearl and The Beard this year. They did a short set at the first Communion monthly show at Public Assembly in Brooklyn last Sunday.

Band of Horses when they come back from Europe, definitely! And I need to see Sir Paul McCartney before he/me dies or that will be like Elvis dying all over again times ten!

deni's avatar

All I care is that I see Girl Talk and I’m praying that the Carolina Chocolate Drops and Edward Sharpe will both be at Telluride again this year.

bob_'s avatar

Rammstein.

No idea if they’ll do a tour, though.

deni's avatar

@aprilsimnel NO SHIT oh my god i am ssssssssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooo jealous i’d kill to see him perform Pussy Control live….UH!.........yeah!

I would also give my right leg and arm to see Technotronic.

bob_'s avatar

@deni You should offer your left arm and leg instead.

bkcunningham's avatar

@deni I love the Carolina Chocolate Drops. I discovered their music before they were popular.

deni's avatar

@bkcunningham I didn’t realize they were popular now, lol. I saw them at the bluegrass fest last year and have been completely obsessed with them, especially Corn Bread and Butter Beans….....AHHHHH! And then my friend told me that her brother is friends with the fiddler! whack!

Seek's avatar

I’ve got tickets for IRON MAIDEN!!!

They’re only playing two shows in the States this year, and I’ll be at one of them!

Had to sell my firstborn to get the tickets, but I got em!

bkcunningham's avatar

@deni they were nominated for a Grammy in 2010 for their “Genuine Negro Jig” album.

Michael_Huntington's avatar

@Seek_Kolinahr I am so fucking JEALOUS! Have fun!

Seek's avatar

Why, thank you, thank you.

I lined up my babysitter four months in advance. April can’t come fast enough! ^_^

I’ve never been to a concert, but I would love to lose my live virginity to Muse. I’m not even sure if they’re going to be in my area this year.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@WillWorkForChocolate You should definately see a live show. It’s great!

etignotasanimum's avatar

I second @WillWorkForChocolate about seeing Muse. They came to a city an hour away from me last year, but I couldn’t go. I was so upset, especially since one of my teachers went to the concert and then teasingly rubbed it in by saying, “You should have gone, it was the best concert of my life!” Argh!

Carolina Chocolate Drops, hmmm? Sounds interesting, I will have to check them out. If you like country/bluegrass how about Caleb Klauder, The Punch Brothers, Shotgun Party, and Crooked Still? Crooked Still isn’t as good without their former cellist, the incredible and insane Rashad Eggleston, but they are still great. Aife O’Donovan has a voice like Alison Krause. I was at the Newport Folk Festival and she sang on the main stage with Tao Seeger.

Gaa. I’ve seen DMB at least once (but usually more) a year for over a decade and they are not playing this year. I’m going through withdrawal. Other than that I always see old 80’s bands that come around, like Depeche Mode or Morrissey.

What am I going to do? Who should I see? Ahh…!!!

Jude's avatar

@psychocandy check out this band. I think that you’d like.

@WillWorkForChocolate I was thinking about you never going to a concert, as I drove home in the snowstorm. You should definately go at least once. My first was Van Halen opening for Ted Nugent and I can still see David Lee Roth leaping on stage from the top of the speaker stack. And Ted was a maniac as well. I also saw CSN on Doubleday Field, in Cooperstown in front of 2500 people, mostly all family groups. It’s worth the money and time.

WillWorkForChocolate's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe Oh, I plan to go, trust me, the question is just… when? I’m going to be checking out some of my fave artists to see if they’re going to be in my area this year and I’ll by the tickets myself this time!

gorgeousgal3's avatar

I’d like to see Lifehouse or Christina Perry.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@gorgeousgal3 GA for Lifehouse. Welcome to fluther and my sympathy for the CP thing.:)

gorgeousgal3's avatar

Thank you. Why don’t you like Christina Perry? Do you find her music annoying or just don’t like her style of music?

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

Just the style of music. I wouldn’t go to a show of hers or similar artists. Her music itself is ok.

gorgeousgal3's avatar

Okay I see you point. I totally respect that.I also would really like to go see Daughtry or Bon Jovi this year. I know someone who saw Bon Jovi and said they were amazing live.
