How is Canada's economy faring?

All the news I hear says pretty much the best in the world. We still had a major slowdown but our banks are regulated differently, watched closer so we didn’t have the mortgage blowout. Our dollar is around parity with America at present. In Alberta we depend heavily on oil and gas development and that was at a standstill for awhile- no investors=no work.

Canada is advertising for disgruntled people to move across the border.
