What are some good upbeat 80's songs?

There’s a countless number of upbeat 80’s songs, but the first to pop into my mind was Ah-ha – Take On Me.

Personally, I favor the literal version of the song. < Try to watch it without giggling, I dare ya! :)

For some reason, Little by Little popped into my head and I decided to look up the video, I was tickled to find that my memory of it. which consisted solely of “a lurcher dog running around,” had totally forgotten all of the other bizarre imagery in the video!

Can’t believe I’m actually the first to recommend this. Surprisingly, after so many years, it’s become a song I really enjoy.
