What were the specific names of the tests to determine whether someone was a witch?

Just need to know the names of the tests. Not an explanation of the tests. Thanks so much!!

Trials or ordeals. Trial by fire, ordeal by water.. aka drowning or burning.
I guess ordeal. Is that it? Or were the names more creative? Lol
The creativity emerged in the methods of torture.
Do you mean the American witch trials that resulted in some two dozen deaths — and were halted by religious leaders, or the European witch trials that resulted in 100,000 deaths? The Floating Test and The Lord’s Prayer Test are the two I can remember off the top of my head.
You see if they weigh the same as a duck.
They are no such thing as a witch. They are nut cases that say they are, but they are not.
Anyone that says anything to the contrary is living in a fairy tale.
@Roby: We are talking about historical reality and not the present. There were decades of allegations and ordeals relating to witches, heathens, non-Christians, traitors, spies and irritating neighbors. Check out the history of the Inquisition or the Salem Witch Trials.
(All those “they’s” in your answer are confusing.)
