Apparently astrologers have realized that due to the earths wobbly axis that the astrological charts that ancients used to set our astrological signs has changed over the years. If they realign everything based on our current axis/tilt etc. the horoscopes are much different and even includes a 13th sign. I am no longer a Type A angry Bull. Has yours changed? Do you care? Do you believe?

Was a pisces, now aquarius, but I really don’t give a damn

@noelleptc I heard the same thing except I thought it only applied to left handed people born after 2009 whose first names started with f, l or p. ;)
I was born on the cusp of Taurus and Gemini, but most horoscopes listed me as Gemini. Now I’m just Taurus.
I just feel bad for people whose tattoos of astrological signs don’t make sense anymore.
@Rarebear – The dates are in the article that @Cruiser linked.
I was a Libra, apparently now I am a Virgo. I don’t really care though.
Was a Gemini, now a Taurus. I don’t believe as such but I still refuse to read them just in case I read something that I don’t want to know!
Actually this is false. First, the updated calendar counts the 13th zodiac sign, which was thrown out by the Babylonians a millennium ago. Second, Ptolomy reset the zodiac calender in the 2nd century to be based on seasons, not constellations as it was originally made. Since we go by the zodiac calendar Ptolomy made (which has set markers at the equinoxes), the zodiac calendar hasn’t changed at all…. at least not the one we’ve been using for 1800 years.
@Leanne1986 I read them now and then. Will you read both of yours now? The old one and new one?
This is something that should be read. Nothing’s changed.
Oh, good, @klutzaroo , I’d hate to have to start behaving better.
@Cruiser No, I won’t be reading any. I’m paranoid enough as it is!!
i’m still a cancer…yaaaawn.
I was a Scorpio now I’m a Libra. I’ll always be an Engineer.
On old & “apparent” new, I’m still a Leo. Win!

Screw em, I’m too old to change. I’m sticking with my gemini. If they don’t like it I can be more precise in what they can do.
I could care less; still the same to me and I’m staying a sag.
It’s all a bunch of bollocks.
I’m a libra….it says here. I don’t believe in that shit….stuff though. I like this sign, now that I believe in ;¬}
I was an Aries, but am now Pisces. I don’t think it matters though. I never identified with any of the “attributes” I was supposed to have under my sign. Meh. I think this is just one of those stories that is supposed to be somewhat big, but is really more of a fluff piece.
My sign is Aries, changed to Pisces. I like being Aries… supposed to be the leader… that’s what I tell my SO ha ha
Do I believe? Only when it suits my purpose
(Previously.)
I remain a Leo, the characteristics of which I’ve never possessed,so astrology still fails.
Ophiuchus, for heaven’s sake. A constellation that is almost impossible to see unless you have the Hale telescope in your back yard,
@gailcalled Out of curiosity, do you know if that sign have any specific “traits” for it, like the others do?
@etignotasanimum: It is a constellation non-entity. I have spent 50 years looking up at the sky and had to google this just now.
From Wikipedia:
“There are multiple versions of the story in Greek mythology. One states that Ophiuchus is identified with the healer Asclepius, son of Apollo, who became so skilled that he brought the dead back to life. Then Hades became so angry that he convinced Zeus to kill Asclepius with a lightning bolt.[ After his death, he was placed in the stars as a constellation.
“Another version states that Asclepius witnessed a snake reviving a dead snake with herbs. Zeus then killed Asclepius with a thunderbolt to prevent the knowledge from spreading, but out of honor for his life works, turned him into the constellation Ophiuchus.”
Man, I’m a fuckin gemini now. How lame! I liked being a cancer, because I am a crab often.
@deni Hey easy on the geminis. I’m keeping my sign.
@Jude You said bollocks! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA my favorite word. Second: chunder. omg i wanna move to england.
I was born a Libra, I’ll die a Libra. ;)
I’m an Aquarius. Or was. My birthday is in 17 days! :D
Astrology is bullshit anyway.
I’m an Aquarius – according to those dates I’m a Capricorn
But a CNN article I keep seeing around states this change doesn’t affect the western zodiac which still has 12 signs – this is an addition to the sidereal zodiac in the East.
I’m still a Gemini and always will be. It’s only for individuals born after 2009.
I was Libra and am now Virgo but I am going to see if I can get that changed.
I was a Gemini,now a Taurus..hmmmm
@lucillelucillelucille I think that new sign fits you nicely!! ;)) Won’t improve your golf game any! Still KYA!!
@Cruiser It makes no sense as I am really not that stubborn
Taurus, and still a taurus. Well… it fits, don’t ya think? :P
@WillWorkForChocolate I was a Taurus, then an Aires, now they say it never happened and I am still a Taurus!? I say it is all a bunch of bull! XD
pfft, I think you’re just being bullheaded about the whole thing…
Hey, @Cruiser , you’re still a butt-head. They tried to make me a fish!!!
To be technically correct, it’s the sign you’re born under, so none of us have to be overly concerned. Although it does give us something to bitch about.
@JilltheTooth So is that what people mean when they call me that? I am stubborn like Bull? XD
Was a Capricorn, now I’m a Sag., according to these new rules? But the descriptions of Capricorns are more congruent to my personality than are Saggitarius’
I don’t believe it, not at all. But it is fun. :)
I have always been a Leo, but I would be a Cancer under the “new” configuration. Which I think is kind of neat, because I’ve always felt like Cancer made more sense for me than Leo in many ways.
IHATE THIS NEW SYSTEM!!! IT’S SO CONFUSING… apparently I am now a taurus instead of A GEMINI!!

My sign is still Aquarius, even with the new change, and that makes me quite happy. Especially since I’m not suited to be any other Astrological sign.
I was a Sagittarius, but am now an…Ophiuchus?
Not sure how many people noticed the posts pointing out that nothing has changed and your sign is still exactly the same
Yea I just learned about the 13 signs and how our signs have all changed now. I was a leo but now I’m a cancer. I was a devout Leo for many years but I guess it doesn’t really make a difference because I haven’t changed.
@hnhall32 No, you haven’t. And neither has your sign.
@hnhall32 PLEASE look at any of the links above. Any of them that tell you that no, nothing has really changed. Here it is again if you can’t be bothered. THIS is the actual news, not some irresponsible reporting that someone started a chain reaction with.
@tedd
Well that’s bothersome; my new sign said that my day will bring with it great positive change. While my old one merely states that my day will result in beneficial alteration : /
ITS FUNNY HOW EVEN WHEN YOUR SIGNS CHANGED THE HOROSCOPE IS STILL VERY SIMILIAR TO YOUR OLD ONE . . . hmmmm : /
According to who ever, I was a Libra…......ok so I weigh and balance everything! So what? I was also born in the house of Venus….The Love planet, so tell me why I never stayed in a relationship….......F… nothing is everything. so therefore, I am just me, an unbalanced piece of work and yet still in progress, with hope….....ha….....Still I am hangin’ in there. I do like me just as I am, a bit crazy, a bit madd, a bit nuts, like all of ya….also I’m a bit wonderful!
