FB question: Why can't my friends post on my wall, if "friends can post on my wall" is checked "enable?"?

Someone told me she can’t post on my wall. I went to Privacy settings and see that “friends can post on my wall” is checked “enable.” Am I missing something here? I just asked another friend to try posting something, and she did not, and she had to go, so I can’t ask her but the fact that she did not post leads me to believe that she could not.

Am I missing something here?

They’ve recently made changes to Facebook profiles so it’s not as easy to post on people’s walls as it used to be. In order to post, you have to click on “Share”, whereas you used to be able to just fill in a field. Maybe your friend just doesn’t know about the change?

I don’t know. she said there was nothing that said share. I have a few people I’ve asked to see if they can do it and tell me if it works.
