Charlie Rose—Charlie Rose Show. Google him to see if episodes are available.
He’s usually on PBS stations so go to your local PBS affiliate and check around. How much content they make available varies from one to the next.
Also try the national PBS.com to check out what they might have available.
If you put his name into YouTube search there are tons of hits, albeit, not shows in their entirety but clips of 10 mins. or less. That’s a shame because his forte is clearly the lengthy in-depth interview. He’s been on the air for many years and is an excellent interviewer who has really honed his craft-quite a refreshing contrast to the tendency towards the short superficial sound bite types of interviews so prevalent in our current increasingly ADHD-inclined age of multitasking.
It’s so nice for a sustained conversation without need of breaks every few minutes for another bunch of commercials.
He was originally on CBS late late late night many years ago, but he and PBS are a much better fit for each other imho.
On an amusing little side note and pictures to make one wince, check out the lengths to which he went (awhile ago) to protect his brand new, just released, MacBook Air.
Just Google his name followed by “face plant” for the gory details. But he was ok and not horrendously injured and he went on the air that night like a trooper, but looking a little worse for wear :). He gets cool points from me :)
