What are the golden hammers in the challenge section of SSB:B?

I have two, but what do they do/unlock?

Well you know how there are all those different blocks on the challenge section. If you use a hammer on one of those blocks it completes the challenge for you. So i would save them for the harder challenges you dont feel like doing like “beat classic mode with every character”
