What herb do you want to be in your next life?
If there is such a thing, what fresh herb would you rather be? Some wish to come back as animals and some believe that once you’re gone, you’re gone. But if you did come re-incarnate, you’d like to come back as what specific herb? why?
I think I’d like to be basil because I’m versatile. They all want my chia herb for last-minute Christmas gifts.
What is it about any herbaceous plant that represents you now or in possible after-life?

Thyme.I could use more of that ;)
Lamb’s Ear. It love the way it looks and feels.
@bkcunningham: hey bro/sis?, that’s my last name. we’re herb siblings.
Rosemary. I could not cook without rosemary.
@Jude LMAO! Are you sure you want to wear that blazer??
cunningham (IL) ancestors: Louisiana, Texas, Georgia; we’re from the same field somewhere…
Lemon Mint….you will either love me or hate me! or both XD
@josie OH MY GOD! i have to agree with you. rosemary is an essential! chicken and vegetables??? most definitely…. carrots? fer sure
I dunno. I think I’d rather be something nasty that nobody wants to eat. I don’t much fancy being eaten.
Rosemary. For @josie‘s reasons.
@downtide Valerian root. It stinks and puts you to sleep.
That would be fresh rosemary. Not the dried shit.
Basil, because I would embody the taste of summer.
Cilantro. The flavor is original and unmistakable, and has a refreshing “afterbite.”
I want to be something hot and spicey.
If geneticists figured out a way to combine Rosemary and Basil, I’d want to be that. I would be so delicious.
Im not just being silly, bananas really are a herb and i would be bananas.
banananananananananananananas!!!!
@Jude no no.. just having one of those days…. looking for work actually.
Banana is a herb though.
catnip. I want to drive my cat as crazy as he drives me. :)
I’d be Cilantro. I love that clean taste. It is selective in a way – only certain people like it but when they do, they really do
I only want to be in a mouth that appreciates me.
I don’t know why anyone hasn’t mentioned cannabis yet, it gives people pleasure :)
Cardamom. It is sort of sweet, but savory at the same time. You can make fabulous desserts with it like they do in Scandanavian countries, but you can also make wonderful curries with cardamom like they do in India. The best of both worlds. It’s very versatile and has an unusual (can’t quite figure it out) kind of flavor.
But of course you knew I would pick C(K)ardamom, right?
