The snow is starting to fall, and I am no caffeine or chocolate this week to get ready for labwork.
No tea, coffee, hot chocolate…..I’m dying over here.
What will warm me up?

After giving this some thought,I feel you should try some mulled cider. :)
Not even herbal tea? Many herbal teas are naturally caffeine free.
Warm cider.
Pour yourself a cup of apple cider (I prefer the cloudy unfiltered stuff). Pop in the microwave for a bit to heat up. Drop in a cinnamon stick and enjoy.
Decaf Earl Grey tea tastes exactly like regular.
Hot Cider, especially the kind that Trader Joe’s has.
Soup of any kind, but especially Hot and Sour soup from your favorite Asian restaurant. Or you can make your own like this
Or this clear chicken, garlic and mushroom broth
Or soba noodles and tofu in Ginger broth
Or clear onion soup
Buy a bottle of store brand apple cider, a thing of cinnamon sticks and one of cloves. Put the cinnamon and cloves in a mug of cold water then microwave for one minute.
Definitely a milk steamer. Get some vanilla in there.
I’d get Bigelow’s vanilla tea. It’s caffeine free and you don’t even have to add sweetener to it (unless you want to of course).—correction, you have to get the decaf one (the regular one has caffeine)
I second Postum. Can’t you use decaffeinated tea and coffee?
Rooibos (redbush) tea is naturally caffeine free and it’s delicious.
I just bought some decaf coffee….
I love these broth ideas…..
They make rooibee tea here in Louisville
May I ask why are you going caffiene free this week?
At this moment I am enjoying a cup of Santa’s White Christmas decaf. Tastes like caramels.
I’m doing some sort of medical labwork…..
The broths seem amazing…..warm water, not so much.
I want some of @Aster stuffs
I got some decaf with baileys. I can have alcohol…..not that i drink much.
well I was joking when I said warm water. I would go decaf coffee but that’s just me going by my taste.
