I am Asian and today for the first time tried the whole makeup and the hair that Scene kids do. Well, my hair isn’t dyed (only light brown high lights) and didn’t use black eyeshadow so maybe that’s why but no one thought I was being a “Scene kid”. Can an Asians be a Scene Kid? Or it is just not possible?

I have seen Asian scene kids. All you need is big sunglasses and tight jeans and you are half way there. Unless we are talking about different things…
You can dress however you want to regardless of your ethnicity. If I were you, though, I’d explore styles that make you feel good and that you feel make you look good. Don’t just follow a trend because everyone else does.
Scene kids still exist? Isn’t it the same thing as a hipster?!
And yes, I second what @Seelix says, you can be whatever you want to be!
Choppy hair, big glasses, lots of neon clothes, straight legged jeans, funky vanns…I think you’d carry of the look well.
Of course you can!..It just takes practice :) I personally dont really like the style, but there are alot of people that can pull it off pretty well…I’m more of a hippie myself, dreadlocks and hemp is my thing…but you can be whatever you want as long as you put effort and time into it…eventually you’ll get to the style that you like…
So I guess being Asian doesn’t matter huh. I was hesitating to do certain styles cause of the fact that I am Asian. Good to know!
Of course!
