I’m going to try chewing gum in the middle of the night when i wake up from dry mouth to stimulate my saliva, but I know there are certain ingredients in certain gums that are better for dry mouth supposably? Seeing that some kills bacteria? like supposably ice cube breakers gum or whatever..
anyways I know that there are dry mouth mouthwash and biotene products out there, but I want to try this first to see if it works…

Biotene has a gum that claims to remedy dry mouth. Freedent used to have a jingle that said it “moistens your mouth”. Really, any gum will help to stimulate saliva production.
Just make sure that whatever gum you try, it’s sugarless.
You should probably check with your doctor or dentist first, to get to the root cause of your dry mouth. You may have a medical condition that needs to be treated. Don’t just start using gum if you don’t know why you have dry mouth.
Dry mouth can cause you to get infections in your mouth which can lead to much more serious problems if you don’t take care of it.
Sometimes dry mouth is caused by certain medications that you may be taking, or there may be some other medical problem that is causing your dry mouth. Fiind out the cause before you start treating yourself.
Cinnamon flavored gum. Gatorade makes a gum called Quench.
Why not just have a gulp of water?
I agree with @JLeslie. Keep a bottle of water or fruit juice on the bedside table. Without knowing the details, I’m betting your dry mouth is a result of too little humidity and/or too much heat at night. And sipping liquid will be better for you than chewing gum.
I didn’t read the whole question…. Just drink some water!
water does absolutely nothing :/..cmon now, don’t you guys think i tried that lol
Risk of choking if you chew stuff while in bed.
Quench is the best gum for this. I can only find it at sporting good stores. It’s better than Gator gum in my opinion.
If there are no apparent medical issues. You could drink more water. You should be taking in at least once ounce for every two pounds you weight or per kilogram of weight.
Just keep a glass by the bed…. so if you do wake up in the middle of the night, you can just take a gulp.
Be sure to be drinking water throughout the day.
On other thing I would get is a humidifier for your room if the air is dry.
What’s your diet like? Take in less sodium OR start using Celtic Sea Salt instead of iodized salt.
