What percentage of all asked questions do you answer?
I ask this, because I was just doing a little reflecting on how I use Fluther.com and noticed, that while I could give some kind of answer to more or less all of the questions, I refrain for one reason or another (usually cause I don’t know quite enough) and instead only answer about 10% to 20% of all questions, on any given day.
What percentage of questions do you answer, and what are your reasons for doing so?

Really depends on the day, the questions, my mood and the amount of time I feel like spending. Some of the time I will whiz down the list and answer several; other days I shrug and move away from Fluther. How that translates into percentages, I have no idea.
I would guess about one in eight on average.
Maybe about 5 percent. I almost always answer the food related questions and ones about relationships and questions asking for interesting ideas about travel or making crafts or good books and movies. I never answer the ones about technical computer stuff, because I know nothing about that. Same goes for any questions about video games. I try to answer some of the questions about medical issues, but I usually try to implore the asker to consult a doctor and not simply rely on the answers we give. I’m afraid there are a lot of people out there relying on fluthers to give them medical advice. That worries me.
I’m in the 5% to 10% range on any given day.
First off, not all questions draw my attention. I am guessing I only see about 40% in my Questions For You.
I delete about 70%, just because I don’t feel I can contribute, or have anything I can joke about.
Of the remaining, I will look at about a third, and not answer, but contribute lurve for someone saying what I was thinking. I will answer the rest, but that varies with the number of questions that day.
I have no idea so I will refrain from answering this one. ;)
about 5%
I avoid stupid questions, My arm fell off, should I go to the doctor?
I avoid questions that have no point, If our knees were backwards, what would chairs look like?
I avoid questions that already have 50+ answers
I have no idea, since there are no defined number of questions asked each day. I do know I’m good for answering at least 5 questions a day. Not much, in the grand scheme of things, is it?
2%, like my milk.
@DrBill Kelly Bundy, yay!
I probably answer about 10% of all asked questions.
1%? I may read a question because the subject interests me because I don’t know anything about it and want to get information, but I have nothing to say. I may not answer because I have nothing to add. I give GA’s for the answers that are what I would have said. Sometimes I’ve started to write an answer and my reply gets too complicated. I may start over or just forget it because I don’t have time to think it through right then. And I may erase an answer because it just sounds dumb…... I don’t like to sound dumb.
