If Fluther were a country, what would it be like? What would the economy be like? What would be the national currency? What sort of human rights would there be? Public education system? What would the government and politics be like? What sort of wildlife and plants would it have?

This question reminds me of this
Anyway, Fluther would certainly not be landlocked. Immigration would be easy. Tourists would face the tariff of rampant advertising campaigns.
A country of participants, ruled by curious, iron-fisted law enforcers.
Small business co-op structure for the economy. It would have all the human rights. Everyone would educate each other in a community-based structure (clearly). Largely vegetarian, but tolerant of the domestic animal farms on the outskirts – they’re small and humane. About 1% of the population will mumble in the corner about how they remembered when the nation had “moral order” from “higher authorities.” The majority, however, don’t pay them much mind….
Belgium. Relatively small & insignificant, but matters a great deal to the locals.
Fluther is like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.
The country would be shaped like a spatula.
Firstly it would be underwater. Possibly a large undersea mountain range. The currency would be the ‘Plankto’, there would be ample living space and good employment for all. A well functioning society spread through many layers of the water column, with an excellent free transport system via the natural ocean currents.
Peace and harmony for all the jellys choosing to live there and, military only for protection from sea turtles.
Like the U.S., with some right-wing loonies, some bleeding-heart liberals and a few foreigners here and there.
If Fluther were a country then I certainly wouldn’t be able to live there, that’s for damn sure. The politics would be so far left of center that San Franciscans would say it was “too liberal”. It might be a nice place to visit, but I sure wouldn’t want to (or be able to afford to) live there.
I think it’s a lot like Canada. Lot’s of freedom and diversity, a relatively small amount of people compared to other sites, and free healthcare!
WOOT Canada and Fluther
Flutherda?
Oz!
The land, not the prison
It would have the highest literacy rate in the world, 100%
The highest internet connectivity rate in the world, 100%
With no provided infrastructure it would have the lowest taxes, 0%.
No military costs.
No health care costs.
Paid mediators and counselors would starve.
It might be difficult to flush the toilets.
It would be a an interesting place to visit but I definitely would not like to live there.
