What are some other websites besides Amazon where you can sell books, CDs, DVDs?

Asked by Ladymia69 (6884points) January 26th, 2011

I know everywhere else is a “ghost town”, as my husband put it.

But I want to try another site. Ebay, maybe… but are there other places to sell?

Half.com is a vigorous site. It was recently acquired by EBay, but isn’t an auction site. It supports feedback, and I think it’s used a lot because prices are competitive. The buyer can provide a credit card, which is administered by the site. It’s safe and anonymous.

I know one where you can trade. I don’t think they do selling. http://www.paperbackswap.com

I am selling, not trading.

Alibris.com Apparently it’s linked to amazon and others, but I buy from there directly. It’s my favorite for used books.

I use musicmagpie.com to sell CD’s and DVD’s. I don’t think you can sell books there though.
