It’s 4:20 p.m. You’re sitting in your office, you have one more meeting at attend, and you’ve hit rock-bottom on energy. You don’t want to eat crap food or drink a sugared drink, but you need a pick-me-up fast. What do you do, fellow jellies, what do you do?

Good question and I want to read the answers, but I want to know how to boost your energy generally. My problem is 24/7, what do I do?
eat something high in fiber or carbs
Juice or some fruit works for me, for that afternoon slump.
You, @JilltheTooth, vulnerable to a slump? I never would have thought that possible. ;-)
Thanks anyway, @Coffeenut, but since I don’t like to drink coffee late in the afternoon, guess I’ll try juice, though I understand that’s terribly high in sugar.
But I’ll have to start tomorrow ‘cause I’m gnawing on some crap candy right this minute.
The advantage to an orange, or some orange juice is that you get the sugar boost, from the fructose, but it’s a gentler one and you metabolize it better.
A 10 min power nap usually does the trick.
I don’t need energy then because I have dinner at 3pm! LOL
I second the oranges.
I also start massaging my hand. There’s a lot of pressure points there.
Standing up, and breathing (specifically, imagine breathing into the spot in your back right opposite where your belly button is, it’s called the 氣門);
If you get your alignment right -(imagine yourself hanging from the place where the spine meets the skull, align your feet so the thighbones are exactly under the hips, knee to second toe, you may also feel a rush of energy.
Oranges are little balls of sunshine!
A dose of liquid sublingual vitamin B.
If you can, get up and go for a quick walk. Another thing I do is play a short computer game that requires fast action, rather than brain work.
